Remember it is 25% of total sales not just a cut of the profit, so this is a great opportunity for Hospice to make a lot of money for a wonderful cause!
Proceeds will benefit Krugersdorp, South Africa's Hospice in the West. The sale will feature hand-crafted items provided by Alive Hospice staff, volunteers and others. Items sold at previous sales have included jewelry, original art, photography, greeting cards, seasonal items and much more.
As sister hospices, Alive Hospice and Hospice in the West maintain a dialogue about hospice care and program development, a collaboration that enables both organizations to grow and further develop the services they provide. In addition, Alive Hospice has provided financial support to Hospice in the West through fund-raising events. The two hospices' partnership began in 2002 through their involvement in the Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Alive Hospice will hold the craft sale on Friday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the agency's Administration Building, 1718 Patterson St., near downtown Nashville. The sale is open to the public.
